Today marks 5 years we’ve been in 2020. Well at least that is what it felt like with all that has happened this year 🤷🏽♀️ - Australia bushfires, pandemic, shortage of toilet paper, impeachment of President, murder hornets arrived to the U.S., global recession, uptick in UFO sightings, King T’Challa’s death, global protest on injustice, California wildfires, Presidential Election scandal...
My God, we made it!!
There were also empowering insights from 2020:
Health professionals are worth more than football legends
Majority of people can comfortably work from home
The planet regenerates quickly without human interference
Some people will come out as amazing cooks
Whenever I am asked to do something I don't want to do I just answer ‘in a pandemic?’ and it works out pretty well after that
Let go of the idea that constantly working is necessary in order to be successful
Embrace rest, recovery, and reflection as essential parts towards a successful life
Life is fragile, handle it with care
Did I miss anything?
So for 2021, I am going to take it easy; entering in quietly and slowly. Then I am going to have a seat. Yep, due to the second wave, stay at home orders are sweeping the nation. That means more time for art 👩🏼🎨 , writing 📝, rest 🛌, meditation 🧖🏽♀️, and moving all the items from my 2020 vision board to next year's vision board...or maybe I will start over.
